61' reissue with Maestro Vibrola (2019) quallity?

    I was gonna buy this one in a local shop. I found out it had a dying tone on 14th fret, D string and the Vibrola was fixed about 2-3 mm out of the center, so the strings would be in a funny angle.

    The price tag of about 2000 USD was a bit to high to come with glitches like that, and so i dropped it.

    What is your experience with the recent Gibson production quality? Was i just unlucky?

    Sounds like it probably just needs a proper setup, which has nothing to do with quality control.

    So the Vibrola can be shifted left and right? That would help.
