Actually I believe it's the same SG as he used from 1980 onwards! (If you see some footage or clips from 1980-1981 you will notice.) The lightning bolts in the fretboard were added much later, but I think the guitar is still the same.

    About the album:
    I love it.
Brian sounds awesome. Actually, they all shine on this album.
Can't wait to see them in Antwerp! ;)

Be ready for when those dates are announced!
I can tell you that getting tickets is a pain in the ...
The 2 shows in Belgium were each sold out in 50 minutes.

have't had enough time to really get a good feel for the songs yet but so far, not bad at all. I don't think this is their best stuff by any means but some cool songs. I think 3 or 4 of the songs will get some radio time although it seems all the attention is for rock roll train so far on my radio stations. Anyone hearing the stations play other songs yet?

rock and roll train seems to be getting the most air time so far and is a solid song
but I kinda enjoyed the guitar work on stormy may day. Not your typical acdc driving rock tone but cool none the same.

This album definitely grows on you!!! All the songs are my favorite off the album now I can't choose! haha

I just read something earlier saying the SG with the lightning bolts is an early 70's SG that has had those inlays added in at some point. Whoops my bad on my earlier post!

I listened to it... and bah I don't know.

Sounds good, but pretty much the same track after track. Doesn't have the energy and the vibe of let's say Back in Black.

I was hoping for something better than this.

    Sorry !

    [/quote]Ditto, but I do like a song or 2 and I can't return a cd can I?

because some of the songs skips.

By the way I think they are missing something here.

It was aweseome hearing slide guitar on an AC/DC album though... I never expected it after hearing Angus slag off slide playing as sounding Hawaiian or "a bit like a cat". LOL
