I added a poker chip to the switch and changed out the all black knobs for some reflector knobs on my new 2017 Standard. I know I like the added poker chip. What do you guys think about the knob change? Just trying to give a more vintage look. Also thinking about some Kluson Revolution locking tuners with the vintage style heads.

Much much better! I've ordered a chip and knobs for my new Paul as well. Not sure why Gibson decided to leave them off this year

Dude, first of all, love that Pelham Blue! The poker chip is just classic, too - looks fantastic.
I can't tell from the pics, does this bad boy have fret-over-binding? (Nm, saw your pics in another thread!)

Are the reflectors gold ? If so, it compliments the blue pretty good.

Much better, may I suggest your next step being getting a creamtone wide bevel pickguard? That's what I'd do anyway.

    NIBS!
My irrational fear of nibs is purely from reading all the it must be true internets.

Pretty, nice knobs the silver just pops with the blue.

I did the same thing to my new Pelham Blue '17 twenty minutes after taking it out of the case. White switch tips and pointers for the knobs too. HUGE improvement.

I would even try Goldstone reflectors and no poker chip, if I had a similar Pelham Blue SG.

I would like to get several novelty poker chips to suit my mood.
I like the Holy / Unholy one.
    How about TWIST / SHOUT
    TITTIES / BEER
    SHAKE / RATTLE
    HELTER / SKELTER

The knobs look cool, much improved!

Who ever makes thise makes a whole ton of them, I personally liked thunder/lightning alot.

But for my guitar I punched a hole into a Georgia state quarter, which has a laural around the outer edge, and I use that as a poker chip.
