Congratulations on getting an extra cool blue SG, and making it cooler
with your own taste in mods.

    Nibs on the neck? :io:

I do love the idea of custom poker chip for a Gibson, with your choice of a whole
menu of dichotomies to wear on your guitar. I've seen a lot of them, and thought
up a few. We've had several threads on this subject, including one priceless thread
that went on and on, with lots of members chiming in their favorites. Here it is:

    http://www.everythingsg.com/threads/rhythm-treble-anybody-else-annoyed-by-this.17199/#post-224791

...of them all, I liked Guns/Rockets all right (better than Guns/Roses, or Tony/Angus etc.)
or Head/Tail or Money/Chicks or Today/Tomorrow or Lady/Tiger and all the rest
but my fave was Bite/Sting ... *grins

That's the way I feel about my SG anyway.

And I like your knobs too, and only have one thing to say about them: DO THEY GO TO 11?

you can see that I like a washer that doesn't say anything... BUT
here's a few of my suggestions from that olde thread:
    true/false... edward/jacob... rain/shine... Marx/Lennon... tastes grt/less filling
    hmmm.... pos/neg... bet/fold... bud/pabst... today/tomorrow... on bus/off bus
    solution/problem... clean/dist... chorus/delay... baby/baby...

    how about: neck/bridge

Have nibs on both my Historic LPs and on every Gibson I have ever owned and they never bothered me. Never have had an E string get stuck or any problem. Maybe I am playing wrong. lol. Here they are on my new SG.

It's definitely a Gibson thing... one of those little details that only Gibson would make.
We don't have to re-live the whole can o worms on this forum. (please)
It's lovehifi's thread, about his cool blue guitar.
