The wood appointments are very nice. The Tarbacks on your guitar have really captured you! They must have some kind of soul. As for finding gold screws for a Gibson, I never thought of that, but I like the idea. Stew Mac or somewhere else on the internet must have them. My Agent 99 is not a vintage guitar and never will be, so, I would not hesitate to mod her if it became necessary. I have Dan Erlewine's book "Guitar Repair Guide". I bought it years ago and I'm glad I did. I would never have thought that lighter fluid would be a good cleaner for any guitar surface.
I need Gibson pickguard/plates gold screws, the size is #3 x 3/8" but the top of Gibson screws is larger
