Alumitone Pickups Installed!

I like the look, although they are smaller than a regular humbucker on the width edges (I put in some foam to hide the pup cavity). I replaced my original 57's with Wagners Crossroads and now the Alumitones. These are dead quiet and have a greater tone bandwidth, so clearer harmonic top end and great bottom without sounding muddy.

I put the Crossroads in my Les paul.
I put GoodWoods in the SG....I am amazed at the SG when amplified....

ive never seen those installed, ive always just seen them in the adds..they dont look that bad..i didnt think they would look good...i enjoy my lace sensors in my strat, glad these are working for ya..

I was wondering how those sounded. Do they have enough "guts" for overdriven sounds?

Yeah, huge overdriven sound! They do everything extremely well.
