First post here. This Junior arrived on Friday. I’m really glad to have an SG Jr back in the house. I had a SG Jr and Special years ago I had to sell. Always regretted selling the junior so when I saw these I had to get one.

Nice junior! I’m guessing it’s a 2019 model by the position of the knobs? I think they look nicer in that position than the 60s junior that I have. That looks like a really figured ‘board too, nice!

Thanks! Yes it’s a 2019. I replaced the original knobs with reflector ones. I just like how they look on sg’ s.

Dangerhouse 77. Congrats on your new SG JR. I purchased a 2019 SG JR last Sunday. I always thought they were bad a-- looking guitars. Enjoy.

Yeah, it's interesting that the single pickup and that shape pickguard really suit the SG body. Much nicer than the more popular LP Jnr.

D64DFE86-D273-4107-B143-D253000EC00B.jpeg Here’s mine, purchased a few weeks ago. Great to play, surprisingly versatile and the lightest guitar I’ve ever owned. The neck is a bit fatter than a traditional skim taper. Darkish fingerboard. Well dressed frets. Finish is delicate as I’ve already discovered the hard way.

Yeah, a new (2019) one and an old (‘63) version.

A lot of great looking guitars! I’ve discovered the delicate finish too. Oh well. I put a Mojoaxe bridge on mine and the intonation is better. I’m thinking of adding tone pro locking studs as well. Anyone have experience with those?

NICE ! The smooth top on the Stop-Tail plus that its sitting on an angle plus the lack of ridges on the top of the S.T. is what makes it 'Non-Compensated' ?
One SHARP AXE there....oh you will have fun with that one !
