What do you have in mind?but 1ST, did you date the serial#? if so, Truss Rod turn? is the neck straight? any deadspots(couldn't really know yet?)? are the first six frets badly dented? I'm not a fan of those larger pickguards but like it's a '73 SG Custom 3 Pickup Bad-Boy.... Needs Bridge posts (are the holes over drilled?),Bridge,Stop-Tail and Tuning machines right off the bat...... just to see if its playable...what does the back of the headstock look like?

Your guess on all of the above questions is as good as mine. I'm not the seller.

    Whatever it needed, it sold.

Wood doesn't like me enough to play nice if I attempted that level of repair. My axe was nice enough to let me enlarge the control holes for a metric to US electronics swap without bursting into flames. Norm Abram I ain't.

Yikes... $660 plus $65 shipping, for something that maybe worth about $600 when complete & playable, after all those repairs.
Someone made an investment in futility.

Meh, some people just like a challenge. I'm not saying it was a good choice mind you, but it'd be a damn good time killer.
