If you've ever been to Dragon-Con in Atlanta, Labor Day weekend, I highly recommend it once. Its the worlds biggest freak show... with lots of "costumes" like the one above.
You dont need to pay the outrageous price for the tickets, as the main show - the people - is free. Just book a room away from the hotels (I think its the Marriot and Hyatt which join each other downtown). Grab a cab there, and get out on the walkway between the two hotels... and check out the living "art". Saturday nite is the nite of wildness. Expect anything. The room parties are mostly free attendance, with donation to "club", and a tip for alcoholic bevs. They cannot sell booz in the rooms, so they go for tips, which is ok, since they're only wanting to recoup expenses anyway.
Its worth doing. Once. Another SG Schematic (my thanks to Lagger)
'04 SG Special, worn brown - '04 SG Special, worn cherry - '73 Guild S-100 - '78 Strat -
'96 Tele 52 reissue - '97 Tele Thinline - '98 Tele Thinline - '03 Adamas SMT - Tacoma M1e Mandolin - and a livingroom full of blackface Fender amps!
