Hey folks
I've been thinkin about making my own pedalboard. At the moment I have a plank of wood spray painted with some velcro stuck on. It's a bit rubbish to be honest! It's growing to fast and I never seem to have enough space.
Have you guys got any good solutions/designs
I've seen some "Suitcase" designs but there too small.
My stomps are
JD Crybaby > Small Stone > Big Muff > BF2 Flanger > Rat II > DD3 delay > TR2 Tremolo > EHX Holy Grail > amp --- Powered via a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2
This collection is gonna grow, i need more!! Still need a chorus, vibrato, proper delay(don't like the boss one), turbo rat, kitchen sink.
There's gotta be some better ideas than a plank of wood!
Go on show us your boards :-)

Don't have a picture, but I built my pedalboard. Did a 2nd level, about 6" deep, on the back, and drilled a few holes to route the cables. I painted it flat black and covered the pedal area surfaces with cheap charcoal grey carpet from Home Depot so I can stick on the pedals w/ Velcro. I put my wireless receiver under the upper level to the right, works OK there but reception distance is reduced. Everything's connected with George L cables - I got 2 pedal kits and custom built the cables as needed. Really easy to do, they sound fantastic and got rid of most of the noise from the pedals.
It's about 30"w X 20"d. I used 3/8 plywood and wrapped around the base in 1x2s connected with little steel corner braces (again, Home Depot). Layout now is: Top level (from right) MXR Compressor, Boss TU2 tuner, Line6 MM4, Boss RV3, Boss DD6. Bottom level (from right) Crybaby, Line6 Expression pedal for the MM4, Boss SD-1 (Analogman mod), Time Machine boost, and Line6 DM4 above my VHT's 4 button footswitch. Under the rear left, I put a power strip to run the wall warts for the 2 Line 6's and the Boss tuner (which has DC out to power everything else). I leave the extension cord, VHT footswitch cable, and guitar cable to the amp, connected to the pedal board and just wrap them up on top when transporting. It's a bit heavy, but it's built like a tank and it sure is an easy setup. I just strap on the wireless transmitter and guitar, plug the 3 cables in and go.
