Flatulence forces plane to land

An American Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing Monday morning after a passenger lit a match to disguise the scent of flatulence, authorities said.

Perhaps they were trying to set it on fire. Saw a backfire on one of those experiments. Singed a few hairs for sure.

Haha. Whenever I'm on a plane, i'm *always* farting. I think its to do with the air expanding at altitude. Though the pressure in the plane is obviously kept close to ground, when we used to take snacks on the plane, anything air-filled would expand!
That's what I base the reason of my farting on

Just remember guys,
ANYTHING that can be construed as an effort to interfere with a flight crew or endanger a passenger can be treated as a Federal offense.
This includes the flight attendants.

The FAA in the U.S. can jail you in a Federal Prison and you may sit for months, even if you are only waiting for charges to be dropped, if you can't post a big bail bond.

A stupid passenger meets an agent in a bad mood and look out!

I guess they need a new sign in the bathroom: We know your farts stink...don't worry about it.

In an emergency, you can use ear plugs in your nose. Also, don't take any of your guitars in there with you.
