A recent new arrival, though not new, to my ---we will call it a collection-- Is Big Ruby. A Limited Edition Transparent Red/Creme Jay Turser JT-133 which is always compared to a DOT however after playing the JT and a DOT and a Sheraton back to back to back. The JT more closely mimics the Sheraton in weight, feel and size (she's a big Gal) :wow:

Excellent fit, finish and build quality. Deep rich resonant tone, excellent slim neck feel and very low action. Tuners are the run of the mil Chinese grover knock offs, but hold tune well.

Came to me with Elixer 11's but I am going to go to some vintage gibson strings when I change them.
Hard to get a good pic of the Transparent Ruby Red finish, pics don't do her justice. In person the curved arch top and woods are very deep rich and good looking.

My first guitar after a 30 year layoff was also a cherry red Ibanez AS73. It is still my favourite guitar.

Never seen a Jay Turser semi-hollow before. That one looks real nice. Good score.

I had (actually originally) thought about slapping some p-90's in it......but it sounds JUST right as is so, fagetaboutit.....AND for the price of a set of decent p-90's ya can snag one of these!!!

Anyone heard of them???? (yes I just hijacked my own thread!)
