i am looking for infos on bigsby b5 on 1969 sg standard..

I had (...) one a few years ago.. got stolen and had a stock b5 instead of vibrola

anyone knows why some had b5 and some had vibrola ?

Could have been a transition yeah I don't know though. I'm not a vintage expert...

I had a B5 put on my G400 and do admit it took a little getting used to. I still have a little trouble changing the strings but the eraser trick really helped! Mine doesn't seem to have as much action as my Meastro or a Fender Strat whammy... but it works for what I need.

Im gonna do it! My '61 has a badass, did you do anything to your wrap around to mount it to the studs or is the pressure holding it down.
