Or just a coincidental look alike??

Is it just me or does VV look like someone talked him into that whole makeup idea??

Honestly, I thought this relic below was somebody's mom, taken before coffee & cig

I for one am glad the whole Glam Rock thing politely faded away. It's just hard for me to take any musician that does the glam thing seriously. Just always seemed more like theatre and gimmicky costumes. Yall know how I be feelins bout gimmickry. Real men shouldn't look prettier than their women!

At least ol Mick knew how to be a man

I wonder how he is aging?

Nicely done with the aging process you have shown of these immortal rock stars.:applause: You are crazy Barry, as always!:ohno: Aren't we all crazy now? I feel a Slade tune coming on. That's why we all own SG's. Not like those LP guys feasting on their polite sandwiches. You really like that wood...wood grains that are so grainy on the wood.:hmm: Ok, nurse Ratched has ordered us all to take medication so we can become nice & normal now. Too much Disco Infernos is not good for your health...it brings on high dance fevers.:naughty:

It sure takes a long time uploading pictures when you're using your cell phone as a modem. Here's some pics of the bridge pickup. Originally I aged it and you can tell by the screw pole pieces. It wasn't as heavily aged as the neck, but then I decided to paint the cover...black.:)

I put my spare Epi pickups in the '59 LP copy last night/this morning . They sound great . maybe I'll put the burstbuckers in a Dean whatever .
Sorry, I did it on a whim so no story board pics on this one . The neck pickup with the tone rolled back to 1 and volume about 8 is just as blue as you can get and the bridge is just too nasty to talk about in mixed company . I love it ! I'm gonna play it a little more !

That's good to hear Bo Biddlin!:applause: LP copy? Did you get another guitar?:hmm: I don't think I've seen that one yet. Post a pic when you get a chance.;) I'm glad to hear you love the sound of your pickups & the guitar altogether. You never know how a set of pickups will sound in a certain guitar until you actually play it. So you really like that woman tone on the neck, eh? Here's a video featuring good ol' Eric demonstrating the woman tone at around the 2:00 minute mark. Man, I love that sound...Thick, chewy, & muddy...yum!:)

Thanks bro!;) I got the idea for the black cover from this lovely guitar. I forget who owns this masterpiece...I think it's some bald-headed guy named Michael.:naughty: I thought it looked cool and this guitar has the real '57 Classic pups in them. It also keeps up with the theme of my control knobs and my previous setup where I had no cover on the bridge pickup. I really like the aged screw pole pieces with that extra detail giving into that vintage vibe.:)

As Mr. Mustard has a wood pickguard, and you are a BlackSG fan, you could get an... EBONY PICKGUARD!

That would be pretty expensive, but it would also be pretty awesome...yes!:applause: I might do that on another guitar if I ever pick up another SG. I would love to do a custom pickguard. I'll be doing a custom PG for my Epi LP Standard in the near future. It will be intersting...hopefully.:fingersx: BTW, who's this Mr. Mustard?:hmm::naughty:

Do you want me to smash the guitar like Pete Townshend...no?:naughty: Yes, I like that part. I must have seen this video a million times over the years, but it's still fun to watch, especially at the end like you mentioned. You see, even a calm-cool, collective guy like Sir Eric can still lose his cool. He exhibits cravings for the Angry Whopper like we all do. The succulent & mouth-watering taste of a burger that releases the inner Howard Beale from the movie Network in all of us...I'm mad as hell & I ain't gonna take it anymore! You see Barry, Pete can't stand the taste, even the smell of polite sandwiches. He's all Angry Whopper or nothing. That's why he's the King! (Burger that is.;)):applause:

And all this time I thought Petey was angry because he had a crap childhood & some perv stuck an inee in his outee when he was 5 or 5?? Here's a quote on the disturbing stuff that happened at Granny's..a mentally disturbed & promiscuous granny at that...

In his autobiography, Towns-hend details how when he was six, his musician parents sent him from their London home to live with his mentally ill grandmother Denny in Westgate On Sea, Kent.
He claims she was promiscuous and invited a succession of men to the house.
He recalled: ‘She wouldn’t let me have a lock on my door, which was terrifying.

'She had one guy that looked like Adolf Hitler, with a little moustache, his hair brushed to the side and a withered arm. He would sit me on his lap and I had to call him Uncle.
‘I don’t want to say I was sexually abused just because it’s convenient to explain why I’m so ... complicated, but I also don’t want to deny that what feels to me happened did happen.
‘Not that I was brutally raped, but something very creepy was going on.’
The experience may have been a spur for ‘wicked Uncle Ernie’, the disturbing paedophile character in the 1969 Who album and later cult film, Tommy.
Who I Am by Pete Townshend is published by HarperCollins on Oct 11 at £20

So was Uncle Adolph really Wicked Uncle Ernie??

Was ol Petey perusing the kiddie porn sight for his his own sick creepo needs, reliving childhood trauma or truly trying to 'expose' the nasty business??

Would we not have all this great Who music with smash 'em up hijinks if not for Uncle Adolf betraying his position as an adult in wittle Petey's life?

So Petes been force feed Angry Whoopers since 5-6 I guess. All I know is music can sooth the savage beast and many an injured soul finds comfort & respite under its magic spell. A haven for the Pete Townsends of the world. On one hand, he has been tortured most of his life because of the hurt going on inside himself, on the other, that hurt was channeled into a very profitable enterprise that has made him exceedingly wealthy and brought him success and accolades as one of his generations greatest musicians. Even though I'm supposed too, I can only feel so bad fer ol Pete at this point in life.

It also contains high amounts of truth smothered in anti-corporate mantra-sauce. After a few bites, it will release you from this matrix of life in which the Illuminati have been orchestrating all along with big business, politicians, & organised religion. The ones who are in charge right now fear the Angry Whopper for it's wide range of flavours that will violently induce spiced logic into your way of thinking. Eat small portions at first, then increase your dosage & your jalapenos.;) It's a liberating process only obtained by the awakening of your taste buds. After that, you'll have to urge to take out those polite, corporate '57 Classics in your SG & install Truthbuckers. Plug her in, crank her to 11 & strum to the world what needs to be heard.:jam:

After ravishing 17 Angry Whoppers, I took a 43 hour Siesta.;):naughty: Here's more pictures slowly uploaded. As you can tell, I'm currently working on two projects at once because they somewhat go hand-in-hand. My old tuners off my SG are starting to fall apart, so I'm salvaging them. With the Grovers on my SG, tuning stability should improve significantly.;)

Ready to install the neck pickup into the PG.

Hmmm...something doesn't seem right. Can you tell what it is?:hmm::naughty:
