Boss TU3 or TU3W

I’ve decided I want a tuning pedal for conviencience and functionality.

I’m currently having to unplug my amp cable to my basic Stark SN3 (red).
Gets a bit annoying after a while.

So the question is. Which one? I like the WAZA one with the bypass switch, but is it worth it other than that?

I was on track to buy a Boss tuner, but abruptly changed my mind and went Korg Pitchblack Advance.
0.1 cent accuracy and 4 display modes (Regular, Strobe, Half-strobe, Mirror). True Bypass and silent tuning.

No regrets, I love the Half-Strobe mode.

I can't complain about the PB Advance, as a bonus, I ended up getting it for free.

Nice... I have a Korg Pitchblack Custom inbound... can't wait. Just like the cool 3D look of the blue/green display.

As for the OP's question... TU3 vs TU3W... I'd spend the extra and get the Waza, since it has a true bypass switch. I don't dig Boss's buffers (which is what you get with the regular TU3).

I dunno, I thought about the Custom, but the Darth Vader / Cylon / Knight Rider vibe of the Advance kinda won me over.

I got a TU 3 for Christmas several years back. It was free and works good enough for what I do.

Generally the tuner is the first pedal in your chain. It doesn't go in the the loop.
