Yes, it counts... maybe the old SG counts double.
We will welcome any Norwegian SG fans, especially if they own a brown one.
Personally, I love the photos of these old ones, because it shows how the faded brown
really gets close to the look of the real thing.. I imagine the faded cherry ones look like some old SGs that haven't yellowed as much.

I have lovingly modded my '07 faded SG special with:
    Grover Vintage Keystone tuners
    Buzz Feiten "shelf nut"
Custom TRC from Scott Swirski of Canada
Gibson '57 Classic and Classic + pickups
    DiMarzio covers (black)
Hand made (by me) walnut pick guard and walnut control cavity cover.
    Tone Pros bridge and tail
High quality wiring harness by Martin Six String
    O-11 knobs from AllParts

She's just the way I want her now, and doesn't need anything more.

Hey guys, lots of great SGs here. I grew up playing a brown SG and have always had a soft spot for them.

Here's the mid-70s SG I learned to play on, belongs to my dad. It's had a headstock repair, one tuner replaced, and a refret, over the years.

And here's my 2016 SG Faded I bought last summer. I've had the PCB replaced and wired '50s style. Also put foam under the bridge pickup to make it sit more evenly under the strings (made a huge difference!).

2008 Faded brown, gutted the pcb and installed SD SH4, regular pots and caps. Been parked for a couple years due to excessive fret wear.
