Burstbucker pro's or 57's for SG

    No...don't move me to pick-ups! I wanna know from you all here which is a better choice if any over te stock 498/490 SG STD stocks. Why wouldnt I just leave them be as is? Differences?

    sgm has burstbuckers in his/my standard...ask him!! :shock: :D :wink:

    I have burstbuckers in my '73 SG, but not BB Pros. The pros have a hotter output and sound than the BBs or the Classic 57's. I think the highs are better in Burstbuckers than in 57's because of the mismatched coils. The 57's are a little flatter for me.

    One of these days I'll have to put a set of the BB pros in something so I can compare them.
