I'm looking for good tuners as well. I'm putting together this Melody Maker Sg, It seems to be maybe a 68? It has the wider peghead and its in walnut finish. Although I'm not trying to recreate it or restore it I want to avoid getting tuners that require boring the pegholes or drilling new holes all over. There are 4 screws holes per side so I'm guessing it had the one piece with 3 tuners attached per side style tuning machines. Any recommendations? I'll probably be going through allparts.

    Hi Brad

If you want to avoid drilling holes, then look no further than the Kluson 3 on a plate tuners, that were probably originally fitted.

Allparts product code TK_0700-001 - Nickel plated, off white buttons.... $60, but you might get a discount thru the link on the ETSG homepage.
