If she's your EX wife, I would think it was worth a broken headstock.

I have repaired 2 broken headstock using elmer's wood glue. My son still has one of them and joint is still very strong, the repair is over 10 years old.

Why overcomplicate a repair and not use modern wood glue? Just saying. Anyways it's your your guitar, your choice.

Maybe Zombie Hide Glue would work?

I'd go with Dan's recommendation since he does know a thing or two...

Maybe his ex wife came back to finish the job, the guitar was just a warning.

He might be the guy behind that joke.

“A woman is on trial for beating her husband to death with his guitar collection. Judge says, ‘First offender?’ She says, ‘No, first a Gibson! Then a Fender!’”
