36 hours ago, we had a hell of a wind storm, trees down and uprooted everywhere and of course, power went out. No problem, I have a generator, just go get it in the shed and Tada, back to normal. Only thing is, the generator isn't there anymore. So now on top of having to buy a new one, I might loose what's in my fridge and big freezer. I hope the power will come back soon ...
In laid back California's rural gold country, that might be a hanging offense, enforceable by the harmed party. Sort of like stealing my horse. I have had a few thefts over the years, but I try to take a charitable view of the miscreant, having seen what an over attachment to things can make people do, but I must admit to a bit of guilty pleasure when I learned that the fellow who stole my Triumph Bonneville had wrapped it around a telephone pole, breaking a few bones in the process, but surviving to be prosecuted.
Thanks, but I can't wait to start correcting your French ... Yep ... way better, I just sudently losened up And why is that ? Still in the mid teens here ...
Nope, heat is taken care of with a wood stove if we loose power. Cooking with gaz range. Generator is for running water (I'm on a well), and saving freezers content.
