Do Genuine SG Bodies vary much?

Important working on a SG / Flying V hybrid and just received a knockoff body for the project.

The sculpting on the fake isn't as pronounced as on my genuine 2015 Gibson Standard. The picture below is of one of the "horn" areas, fake on the left, real on the right.

I was wondering if the other SG types had slightly different sculpting.

Thanks.

I figured I might take a router bit round the back edges, but. I'll probably leave them alone. I'm certainly not going to try and resculpt the whole body. At the very leastthe extra wood should help prevent the legendary neck dive

At the horns area, late 1960's is thick similar to the "fake" on the left and early 1960's is thin like on the right in the OP photos.
