I am looking at maybe buying one. It has the lock\ing tuners that I really l\iked\ o\n my now departed Epiphone SG Modern, ame has an asymmetrical neck like the Modern. And it comes in a nice b\lue b\urst finish, and with a 1/2 inch maple cap on the mahogany body.
The question I have is about the Fishmans. I’ve watched some videos on YouTube and the pickups seem ok, albeit a bit difference. Reviews I‘ve read seem to suggest that they are noisy and a few people have said that the battery compartment is difficult to open.
I am hoping that somebody here has experience with this guitar. I like it a lot. It even has a 24th fret marker, which looks better than the last 4 not having a marker like on the modern. The Modern I had was awesome, but I needed to sell it.
I am looking at either ordering this, or maybe a Kramer Nightswan, which is a couple of hundred bucks cheaper, but like all of Kramer’s new offerings, will need a ton of work. I am leaning toward the SG more.
