Funny, I've been using 'Grolsch' locks for years with no issues. I've never had one come off and am fairly energetic when playing live. They're just rubber, so no peculiar noises or rattles either.

Did I mention they come with a free beer?!

    that's a bizarre statement IMHO...
Grolsch is among the proud, the few, the real beers of the planet.
American beer seems to have fallen victim to corporate greed and corruption, like the rest of our "culture." In my humble opinion anyway, as an aficionado. I like beer, but not when they put water in it after brewing. Oh and Grolsch makes the best strap locks too, by the way.

LMAO COL, I found about 60 old Grolsch bottles in my girlfriend's basement. I robbed the gaskets off and put the bottles in recycle.

Pardon me but why are they called captain kirk models? Its the first time i'ved heard of the term. Is it a reference to the 70s?

I'm lucky enough to have about a dozen micro-breweries within a few minutes walk of me. Even though beer sales here are reportedly falling, there's a real expansion at the tasty end of the market! Sadly, I can't find Grolsch in bottles, so I've bought some of the Fender copy-cat rubber locks. I think I prefer them to anything else I've tried.

Actually it's Kirk Douglas, which is potentially just as confusing... :)

    This might help:

Thank you SG! Good thing you also posted a vid reference for I might have mistaken it for the Kirk Douglas the gladiator! :)
