epiphone dot modifications?

ANyone here with a later model epiphone dot do any electronics mods like pickups change,pickup selector switch change,etc?Wondering what can be done to make it sound like a nice guitar,if possible.

its sounds decent, but its pretty noisy, but im working on figuring out how to fix that, if possible right now.
