I am looking into one of these. How is it in the recording studio?
As a rhythm player, I use an interesting set of stereo chorus. The DR 880 has a very cool stereo chorus, and when properly set, the Danelectro Stereo Chorus adds a depth that is awesome. It is further enhanced when I play the 12 strings thru it.
I use a distorted/ dirty sound on those apps that need it which I have a number of them set in the DR 880. From lighter to heavy and about everything in between.
It works well, no problems in my home studio. In fact that is really what I like/want it for/need, is for recording. A LOT easier than removing the hum in the DAW/editing/mixing. Tiny bit of tone suck, that is easily compensated for with a tiny EQ tweak.
My favourite pedal apart from my TC Flashback delay & MI Audio Super Crunch Box is this Blackout Effectors Musket, superb! MUSKET
Ah.... The Musket.
Even the name of that pedal sounds just... well, Cool!
Can't afford one. Want one. Trying to resist even to this day.
Gotta call 1-900-GAS-PASS and see if they'll talk me down from spending money I don't have!
Maestro MFZ-1. It has been the cornerstone of my sound for more than 20 years.
I would love a Tone Bender and a Supa Fuzz. I will probably never own an original though.
Ramble FX and Farmland are in my favorites list.
Go ahead and buy it. You deserve it. You work hard.
Did I just go Sedaris? Yeah. I think I did.

Not me, I'm in too bad of shape to work anymore. I live on a policeman's pension so I starve most of the time.
Three things cops know about life's funding:
1. They're never gonna get paid enough for what they do or have to put up with.
2. Their kids and family will never have a new anything; car, house, you name it.
3. They never get enough to live on in retirement either!
Now of course if someone really felt sorry for me (hmmmm, like that's gonna happen) and bought me a Musket then this old worm would do his happy worm dance. :)
«-- That's my happy worm dance, only I do it far slower!
......... sounds like musicians.............!
Maybe the diff is that as a musician you have a chance of picking up equipment along the way.......
Could be worse, you could be a 'professor' ... not many of them have a full-time gig these days, yet the universities and colleges go through the charade of praising them and pretending that they have much more status than they really have for the purpose of keeping them in the system and, more importantly, justifying student fees.
Sorry man. I'm almost tempted to build you one. The pots won't be straight. The led may not light. The switch may not work. Hell, like all my pedals it may not make a pleasant sound. But hell, that's why I keep some.
Neil, is that you?
Ha... (Head down kicking the sand,) I don't get it.
At the moment, my fav is a JHS All American, and Hartland Analog Flanger
