That's almost as scary as Esg 's new amp modding adventure im pictureing
dual double barrel shotgun for that xtra blast turbo charger off a Porsche to steam up the
    rectifier tubes etc.

Saw Ted in 1976...same experience...stood right by the speakers...heard nothing but ringing for hours after the show...couldn't hear my engine running on my 65 Chevelle with Thrush pipes...those were the days!!!

! ! ! ! I leave for a few hours to have dinner with friends and I end up 4 pages later with zillions of amp mod suggestions and whatever.

    What was the question ?
Oh yeah. I'm buying that SCX2 head, whatever you say.
Geez, can't leave you guys alone for a minute, look at that mess.

OK, back to the regularly scheduled question...I have the SCX2 Head and I love it. Fender Fuse software is great to play around with and tweak the settings...BUY ONE!!!

I have the combo (in Sonic Blue, baby) and love it too. I'm not sure why the XDs are more expensive -- aren't they essentially the same amp, differing only in the addition of the USB interface on the X2?
