Well.. you have your system.. truth be told, I had a 1991 Flying V - 67 in white that i just did not bond with and had a tad bit of a neck bow that i had to constantly adjust the truss rod during longer periods of non play.. I spotted a SPLAWN quickrod at GC (Marshall plexi, JCM 800 & Modded JCM 800 in one amp) at GC and went for a trade.. $ 900 bucks.. I think they sold it for $ 1150.. but i got a hell of an amp below market value.. hopefully a win win for all..

I am still thinking the 2004 is the way to go..

I had a Splawn modded JMP for awhile in purple! The 2004 was the one that I ultimately kept! I need to post some more photos of it!

A provocative bevel is always persuasive. I'd keep the one on the left then.. (provided they feel the same)

Off Topic: That crown does several important functions for the guitar. Most importantly, without it, both guitars and their players feel scary neked.

IDK which OF THE 3 PIC'D is the 2017, BUT, the best playing AND sounding SG I have ever played/owned is A 2017 SG STANDARD. IF YOU HAVE ONE, KEEP IT !
I regret not buying a few of them. Locking Grover Tuning Machines, '57 Classic's, Rolled-Binding...... STOCK...and GIBSON even threw in the Hard-Shell Case for $1299 all-in.
Yep, the 2017 SG Standard gets my vote. FRIKKIN CANNON !
