    You cant go wrong.
I had the HB Sg for a awhile, had to shim the neck and smooth some sharp
    fret ends.
I have the JR in my avatar and I just love it. I put slightly better Chicom tuners and a GFS Mean 90, new strings and some set up adjustments and it is a true pleasure to play.

It is always my go to when my lower back is hurting too.

I would buy that yellow P90 in a heartbeat if I didnt have an incoming P90 guitar.

All you Special One buyers, do yourself a favor when you get your P90 machine and Scotch Brite the back of the neck. It'll improve your tone. True ! If it makes you play better, your tone will also be better.

    Thank me later.

Yeah, I saw that the SG didn't have P90's.

Still on the fence about either guitar.

For the prices I'll leave them in the box and sell them down the road or give them to the grand kids...

The green kind. But there might be different grades. Get the softer one.
No steel wool, pickup magnets won't like it.

I was thinking about buying one of each and swapping pups.

PS waiting for sensible members to talk me out of this.

Yeah,,,,,, that's the ticket!!!!! I love that guy HAHA.

Pups, well I have a nice Lindy Fralin and a 498 to choose from for the Bucker model,
I could always find a pair of P90's if the Chinese ones are junk.

    Doh!
    Cover=Blown?

Older married, mostly white, men are often mistaken for the emotionless souls just trudging through the burdens of everyday life.

But then some, you see, they get this crazy mid life crisis idea where they want to have a serious go at learning to play guitar. Something they always wanted to do.

And thats when they reconnect with an emotional content long buried by the work a day drivel of suburbia.
Mine came in the form of learning my first Clapton and BB King licks, finally able to play them fluently and the ability to bend 1/2 and full steps to correct pitch by sound and feel consistently, and apply vibrato to taste.

    Expressive Emotional Content.

So, you decide which is right and which....
    is an illusion.

Reminds me of those SOAP episodes when Burt was abducted by aliens and one came back as BURT
