PS : Faber conversion studs are not free in body holes, the mount is strong enough [IMG]

Yep, we all know who that leather and studs stuff came from and where he got it. Somewhat late in the game it turned out he was gay (surprise!) and guess what? Nobody gave a sh1t, he's still the Metal God. So yeah, I for one like that style and considering all of this the above comparison is ridiculous, offensive and downright stupid.

Perfect adjustment, better sustain, perfect setup and intonation. The feeling is really better, awesome upgrade!

I prefer this nice looking Gibson ABR-1 bridge too.

KK Downing originated the metal and studs look for the band. Halford liked the idea as he was wearing wacky robes and strange equestrian gear at the time.

My 91 Special had a sort of hybrid set up. It had the ABR-1 bridge with the wire and the Nashville style, one piece, thumb wheels. So, when I was restoring it recently, I had to buy both bridges so that I could put it back to its original factory state. I’m an ABR fan, all the way.

The gold hardware with the aged white is a awesome combination! I have a 91 special that is white/gold. Love it! Thanks for sharing the pic!!

My first Gibson SG had a Gibson ABR-1 that' s why I prefer this kind of bridge, and sustain is better, parts must be very well (strongly) assembled.

Black Nashville anchors and conversion posts are strongly glued with Loctite 648,

With the LOCTITE 648 the black Tune-o-matic studs and bushings are strongly assembled and the black Tune-o-matic studs are forced into the wood.
