I'm totally confused about why there is a "limited edition" natural burst standard (discontinued). what's the difference between it and a regular NB standard??

I remember hearing at one point, the natual burst was not a regular production color. It was only available in the limited edition.

Well, the weird thing is, I have a natural burst on order for me. But when I called to check the status, I heard the guy read "sg LE standard natural burst" off his computer. So I'm pretty sure I'm getting a limited edition (its on order from another store in the chain, not from gibson).

I'm hoping it's the LE, but I would like to know the difference.

That being said, I'll have pictures and know if it's regular or LE on monday.

In addition to the allover burst that CB said, the LE had an emblem at the back of the headstock. I believe the price should be an indiacator because that was a Custom shop guitar.

Custom shop? Don't all custom shop guitars have the custom shop logo on the headstock? The LE defintiely does not.

I didn't mean to say it is currently a limited piece, at one point it was...at least I remember hearing that. It is now a regular production color.

I've seen an ebony stained one. It looks like a black faded!

My buddy has that white special. He wants to sell it to me. If I wasn't buying the natural burst, I'd go for it.

Yeah, that was a nice guitar. It's nice to know that he'll probably always need cash, so maybe I'll save up...

I don't think he's too keen on selling it. I think I'd be the only one able to get it off of him.

Those look cool, but I never seemed to associate them with "all out rock"..............IMO 8)
