I took off hardware parts except electroniccs. I cleaned parts, the SG will have a better cool look.
I order a Gibson TP-6, this tailpiece is awesome on a SG I always love it.

I want to find a set of 8 gold screws for pickuop rings: 2 short screws near the neck, 4 medium screws in the middle and 2 long screws near the bridge, do you know where can I find a gold set? If it was metric that should be easier... Thanks

I have products to clean the SG and to remove yellow stains, GHS Guitar gloss is the best working but may be you have a better idea? I know it's not possible to remove all yellow stains.

A last question Can I use lemon oïl on the ebony fretboard?

Anynyway this Gibson SG is a very good guitar, I am very happy with it
I made a good deal with the stock flightcase in excellent condition

    :laugh2:

I too use lemon oil on my ebony FB. Also I use raw linseed oil when there is no lemon oil around. It takes longer to soak in but the results are very satisfactory.;)

I know this is an old thread by now, but I just wanted to add that I have a 91 that is identical. Even the brown/pink case!

I had a red one, loved the ebony board AND I actually liked the maple neck...I found it a bit stiffer than a mahogany neck and I liked that. Very straight forward, not fancy great guitars IMHO. I think it's worth the price for sure.
