Hello everyone,

I'm a long time follower of this great forum, but just registered recently.
I searched everywhere but could not find any info on this, so, i hope that someone here can clarify me on this.

Can someone, that have this guitar, give me this measures (in centimeters).
I need it to compare with a guitar that is supposed to be an authentic replica of the 61 RI. But there is something in the headstock format that does not seem right, i say this just by looking to some of the Gibson pics on the net.
Its not my guitar and i don't have pics of it, sorry. But i will try to post some.

I would really appreciate your help on this.

Thanks

Thanks Six String, i really look forward to be more active in this amazing forum.

Thanks for your reply Mike, just as i suspected the guitar fails to be an exact copy of the 61 RI,

The measures on this one are:

A=18.3
B=8.5
C=12.8
D=8.2
E=4.2

The measures that really makes it look odd are the B and D, because the 61 RI as a difference, between this 2, of 1cm, and on this guitar is less. Because of this, when i look to the headstock, creates the illusion that the B is smaller than the D. This "illusion" reminds me of the epiphone elitist headstock, where the top is smaller than the base, i don't like those.
The guitar I'm talking about is the Epiphone SG 61, Limited edition with lacquer finish, Black.

By the way, (if its not of to much trouble or asking to much), could you please tel me the thickness of the neck on the first and 12th fret, and the width too. I promise i will not ask for more measures, sorry. ;D

Here are the pics, as promised:

I will now confuse you with my measures. My git is a 2007 CS 61 reissue.

A - 17,3 cm
B - 8,1
C - 13
D - 7,5
E - 3,3 nut not included

width 1 fret - 4,4
12 - 5,2

I agree about the illusion. It looks wider at the D.
It's not uncommon for Gibson to make the Epis somewhat different.

Thank you all for the reply,

It seems that the neck is thicker in the epiphone, but the width is practically the same.
