Is it a Gibson cause the body looks wonkey and it has 24 fretts and funny inlays. The angle of the guitar in the pic might be whats making the body look weird. It looks like some type of JR I do know that much.
the stop tail position being so far behind already suggests it was added on later.
do you have the actual guitar with you? or just basing on pics that the seller posted?
look behind the body and see if the string thru holes are there.
That is an SG90.
It may be a VERY early version of it.
The very first one I ever saw was on the cover of a guitar magazine.
There was a pic of Joe Perry & Slash. Slash was holding one just like that with the stop tailpiece.
I wanted one as soon as I saw the pic but I had now idea what model it was.
Later I saw one with the string thru design and ended up getting it brand new in 1990.
EDIT:
I found a pic on Google.
This is the pic that was on the cover of a guitar magazine back from the 80s.
My memory was a little off.
The guitar is white but it's definitely an SG90 with a stop tail.

Everything seems to match except for that bridge. I see no holes left over from a string through anchor nor signs that the Steinberger KB-X Tremelo was ever there.
Do you actually have the guitar in possession & Does its scale measure 25 1/2"?
If that stop tail looks factory & unaltered, we all know Gibson was capable of changing specs & doing whatever so, to find this wouldn't be an unheard of surprise. I cant see any of the prescribed stock tail pieces ever being there and being the rest of the guitar seems spot on to the specs, odds on favorite is this is a Gibson SG90 Double
thanks for al the replies ...the guitar is mine it scales exactly as the sg90 model
so i guess its a previous or aftr te sg 90 tremolo model.maybe ican find it from its serial?
thanks a lot for that slash picture...........
i believe now that my guitar really exists :)
to end all speculation, just email Gibson with the serial number, and ask them what guitar it is.
i've done that with my SG-90 with factory schaller floyd rose, and they managed to verify it.
as mentioned before id assume this one to be very early or very late in the run.
with gibson it has not been uncommon to burn off left over parts at the end of a run...perhaps they still had some 24 fret necks laying around and didnt have any bodies around for string thru or trem and didnt feel like making a batch up to finish em.
those arent stock pups though so the mod thing may not be completely out of the question
