Anyone else waiting on theirs? I put one on hold for myself a few months back, and am supposed to get it sometime early next month. I can’t wait. All the reviews I’ve seen of them look awesome. I’m hoping I love it just as much as my standard if not more. They look to be an all around great guitar, and if they’re anything like the standard, I know it will be great
If the Gibson factory is having the same kind of issues that many other factories are having, then you may be in for a long wait. Trying to run a factory in the middle of a pandemic gets crazy... trying to keep supplies up when your suppliers have got the virus, or when people on the factory floor come down with it and you have to go contact tracing and quarantine others at work... it's just not a normal time. Expecting factories to run properly in the middle of a pandemic is not a good idea. I don't think anyone knows what to say about it. Guitar stores are failing because people aren't buying much. All my musician friends are struggling, all are out of work. Venues are failing, we haven't seen the bottom of this yet. Many of us are just trying to simply survive until we can get vaccinated. Except if you've got a fine SG to keep you company during this time of self quarantine and sheltering in place, count your self blessed.
