Oh yea, now that the 360 and PS3 is out everything else is going down in value. Brand new PS2s are only $80 now.

    THANK YOU!

Someone at Allen Music told a friend of mine (Jake Wissinger, Rythm Guitar: H/V) that most Epiphones sound alittle better than some Gibsons.

Must be a great player with a great setup with the Epi and a horrible player and setup on the Gib.

I personaly believe that Angus would sound great even on a broom with 6 strings :)
Anyway, here is a guy who explains well about the AC DC sound:

I watched many people trying to "catch" that ac dc sound, but this guy is the best.

Going thru this thread put a real fear in me.
When the overall guitar market discovers that a $150 Epi is "just as good" as the $2,000 to $3,000 Gibsons I worked my ass off to buy, I'm gonna be out ALOT of money!!!

The guitar market may capsize and sink to the depths of the ocean, never to return. Gibson will go under for sure if they can't sell an American made guitar for more than $400.

    C'mon guys.
Epi has it's place in the market, I've owned a few. For the money, they were decent guitars.
Fit, finish and flaws considered, they were nowhere near the main line and upper Gibsons, though Gibson still puts out some real stinkers now and then.
Buddy of mine runs a high volume Gibson dealer store and says they still have to send new ones back regularly for really stupid reasons, like the QA/QC people at Gibson only work part time.

    :-)

I agree, and I've said this before, Gibson needs to start listening to the people instead of their accountants! >:(

My God, why does almost every thread have to be centered around Angus Young. There are so many many better players out there.

I would say that only few threads are centered around angus young. and your not going to get much sympathy from people here on AN SG FORUM.

Here's a tip. When you get to the main forum choose an area of interest and click on that. When you get to that area of interest there's a button in the top right that says "New Topic" click on that and talk about what interests you!
Honestly it's like people at bars complaining about what's being played on the jukebox. Their dollar$ fit in the money slot the same as anyone else's.

Can't say that AY does a lot for me, irrespective of the make/model of guitar he plays, plus I think there's something ludicrous about a man in his late forties jumping around in a schoolboy outfit! That, like Brian May's hairstyle, should have changed many years ago. :)

the point wasnt whether I like angus young or Brians haircut(Which i do like both...well maybe spare that dew but hes a great player so who cares)the point is that its stupid to waltz into an SG forum and complain that there is an AC/DC thread.
