Never too early to start planning.

I may have a couple of ETSG members tagging along with me to the Show !

Lex Lurid is crossing the pond ( barring any unforeseen incidents that will prevent him from coming ) and GuitarWeasel may be joining us as well !

Can you picture the three of us, together under on roof?   ;D ( keep your comments to yourselves  ;)  )

I'm hoping that the date is an inadvertant typo. Surely it's supposed to be 2007?

I think I may be able to get down there for that. The May dates were impossible, but July is open.

We need to make sure that there can be a central meeting of the ETSG contingency.

Whoa, Reading is the city where I was born and reared. I was raised there too. :coolsmiley:

Anyway, it's a good hour away from Philly and, aside from the Ugly Oyster Bar on North 5th, it's a pretty beat town. Nonetheless I might just head back to see the folks (i.e., crash on the couch) and see some guitars if time and work schedules permit.

If y'alls need some local insight, hit me up. I still gots some connections.

It's a tempting proposition. I've been telling myself for several years I'll get over for a big guitar show. Unfortunately I'm financially stressed again at present and, on top of that, I've got the presentation ceremony for my Masters on July 18th. Of course I've got to go to that along with my ageing Ma, who'll be full of maternal pride at her son's achievements (if she actually realises!).

(Gosh, old age, and all it brings, is a terrible thing which, unfortunately, the victim is not even cogniscent of. I love my Mum dearly, and she's a fine age, still active and generally together, but... I hope I die before I get old - and don't even realise it.)

Good luck, javamagic. That sounds like it's worth it -- there's plenty of guitars in the world, but only so many masters -- MAs, that is.  ;)

In PA, you should really be drinking Yuengling (pronounced Ying-Ling) Lager anyway -- it's the local (straight outta Pottsville) elixir of temporary eternal youth from America's Oldest Brewery.

Yuengling ain't a hair on the arse of Bluepoint Lager as I've had both back to back at Philly one year ... of course I had to bring my own Lager to compare. I never missed a Philly show in 15 years! ;)

Summer is a tough time for me to get away from work.
But I'll see what I can do.......

    Maybe the Fall Show?
