For Gibson dealers in Mass, the best one is Bill's Music on Lynn Street in Peabody. He kills GC in price and selection. He loves to haggle(he's Greek), and he is also an incredible scheisster. You can't go wrong with new gear when you go to him. As for used stuff, know what you're looking at. The better informed that you are, the better you will make out. He is not on the web, and does not sell on ebay. I have bought a lot of stuff from him. Cash(not cards) talks with him. He will accept any reasonable offer on anything. As for other dealers: Fender and Gretsch, go to Performance Music in Woburn. Used gear: Cambridge Music in Porter Square, Cambridge. They are awesome. Retro Music in Keene New Hampshire. My favorite store of all time. Jeff is as honest as the day is long. I couldn't say enough nice things about him. I need to make the drive one of these days. It's been a while. He also has this reallly neat lap steel made out of a bathroom scale at the shop.
