Hey everyone. Stopping in for my practically yearly visit now to say hi and also have a question.

I just threw a strat together with some spare parts I had and painted it and everything. I decided to put a stop tail on it (don't ask) but I finally assembled and set it up today and I'm getting weird noise, bad feedback, and it doesn't sound right. The only time none of this happens, is if I put my hand right near the cable, then it all goes away. I'm wondering if it may be because I didn't put a wire from the bridge to the electronics when I was doing the wiring. It just has a volume knob though, it's all very simple. Anyone know what my problem is?

Sounds like a grounding problem to me.
