First post here,

Today I bought a 2014 Gibson SG Standard in Heritage Cherry. I have a son that is due in a month and my wife suggested we get him a guitar from the year he was born. Since we are naming him after two musicians who are SG players, we thought an SG was appropriate. It will be a while before he can play it, so I guess I will have to break it in. :). It arrives this week and I cannot wait.

The name is Tobin Joshua, he is named after Tobin Bawinkel of Flatfoot 56 and 6'10", as well as Josh Scogin of '68, the chariot and Norma Jean.
