    Hello guys,

I'm interested in a Gibson SG, which the seller offers as a "61 Reissue", made in 1996. But I'm a bit puzzled. An ABR-1 bridge is supposed to be installed. Instead there are bushings für a Nasville bridge installed. Any explanation? Thanks in advance!

I've been told by other members here that some had Nashville bridges. Personally, I've never seen any with anything other than an ABR, and all my Gibson lit. dating back states the have ABR's also. With Gibson, I don't etch anything in stone. I could easily see them running low on ABR stock and putting Nashville's on some '61's to keep them shipping...

Maybe someone upgraded the ABR-1 to Nashville on the 1996.

Had a 2009 SG '61 RI in the past with Nashville as stock bridge.
