OK, it has Korea on back of headstock, Grover tuners, cherry STATIN finish NO Clear,Neck is set made of mahogany(both body and neck mahogany) pearl trapiziod inlays, rosewood fingerboard with bound neck.

This Epiphone Sg plays better than my Gibson SG Faded. I can't figure it out.
I bought it at a flea market for get this $175.00 and it came with a new looking hardcase.

I like to send picture but don't know how.

I need help
Thanks

It looks like the Vintage G400 to me in Worn Cherry but without the Gibson Truss cover. It's probably a G400 in WC before they came out with the Vintage model.

*G400 comes with plastic tuner buttons. Vintage comes with Chrome tuner buttons. I believe you have the Vintage model. The Vintage model wails-great guitar at a great buy!

TNT,

That's it I never looked at the vintage thinking I could have never gotten such an outragaeious deal. The Vintage sells for around $600 I paid $175 with case. Now I'm thinking this axe was stolen and guy just wanted to dump it fast, which is not cool but I didn't know. I bought it not knowing if the electrics work.

It's says in the ad has 57 humbucker and hot humbucker now I know why this thing sounds so good I was thinking it had just some Korean made cheap Humbucks and this axe wails.

Axe is a screamer sounds better than my Gibson SG Faded one of my buddies likes it so much he wants one now and went looking for it yesterday at GCenter and Ash!
Thanks a bunch TNT

Marshall Bluesbreaker for $300? I think I 'd be pushing the Gods on that one. I'll take the deal I got with the Epip SG.

I do have a Marshall MG30EFX that rips with my PA setup.

Do you know what a Hot Bridge humbuck is ( Epiphone list the Vintage SG as having a 57' neck Humbucker(I know what that one is) and a Hot Bridge Humbuck (I have no idea).

I have no idea either. You can use a multimeter on the cable end (the end that you plug into the amp). Put one lead on the end and one lead on the side of the cable end and read the ohms. Bridge pup will be "treble" on your 3-way switch on the guitar. Apologies in advance if I oversimplified. It would be interesting to know what those values are.

Set your MM on 200K. Make sure both vol. knobs are maxed or you will get the high number. Both my '57 Classics read 7.9 ohms using this method.
