    Hey guys,

    I thought I should introduce myself,

    I’ve recently graduated from The University of Wales Bangor, when I was a student I played in a band called Prof. Leibstrom, why we had such a silly name I don’t know (I think it had something to do with a heavy drinking session and a strange affinity for stupidity). I used to play lead guitar anyways, without a drummer we did mainly stripped down rock covers (acoustic guitar, bass, lead and vocal). Having some funk tendencies back then, did not always work with the band, often leading to bemused faces in the audience (and band members lol).
    I’ve now moved back home whilst I look for a “proper job” (I’m now living near Birmingham in England). Getting board of what I was playing has made me re-think what I want out of my guitaring so I went in search of a “new sound”. I embarked on a not so epic quest into a few guitar shops and looking for gear on the net (Hence finding this place of SG enlightenment). At the end of my quest I found not the Holy Grail, but an Epi SG g-400 and a v2 Valve junior making, my new sound, quite old sounding if you get my drift?

    Me playin Guitar in Prof Leibstrom;

    This is my set up at the moment;

    I’m happy now!!!!!!

    My influences are eclectic to say the least;
    John Frusciane, John lee Hooker, Bob Marley, Counting Crows, Jack Johnson, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Sigur Ros, Santana, Jimi H, Cream and Bob Dylan.

    Thats me (my muso side at least)

    Rich

    Thanks for the messages wags and CharlieB,
