    New member here. Well I had one post back in '13.. :smile:

    Just sold off several guitars to put towards one of the '64 reissues. I have never owned an SG because I had hard time with the shallow depth, bigger shoulder (wide and thin) of the ones I had tried (61 reissues). I am looking forward to trying it out as it supposedly has more of a '59 neck shape. It also has underwound pickups ( Custombucker S).

    Welcome! That's a very nice guitar. I tend to favor the SGs that have the stop tail piece rather than the vibrola. They look more vintage with the vibrola, but I figure it's hard enough to keep a stop tail piece guitar in tune, I don't need something that puts the guitar out of every time you touch it.
