    Hey everyone,

I've got a line on what appears to be an SG Deluxe from the early '70s. It's had a very serious neck break that's been at best poorly repaired. I've been looking for an SG to fix up and gig with so I don't have to take my Gordie Johnson everywhere with me. What would you consider a fair price for one of these, in pieces, definitely missing the bridge and possibly missing the Bigsby?

I would definitely be refinishing the neck, and probably fixing the repair if it wasn't solid. As well, it seems to have at least one of the 'Gibson-logo' pickups they used in that era. How are they thought of?

    Thanks!

With no pics $200.00USD sounds fair. The embossed pickups were offered only in '72 but are T-Tops.Welcome Drazden

    Thanks!

I'm still not sure about it; the fretboard may need to be sanded level at the nut, due to the poor repair that's been done to it. That gives me a bad feeling...
