:coolsmiley: Just introducing myself and my gear if I can get it uploaded....
My name is Laney. Not like the amps, but pronounced like Danny with an "L".
I have been playing for 27 years now. I love hard rock and metal. Various other styles as well, but I am an original metal-head. My early influances were KISS, Sabbath, Led Zep and the like. Ace Frehley is the reason I began to learn guitar. I am self tought. Around 81 or 82 I discovered a band that made my fingers bleed. JUDAS PRIEST!! I love the way the guitars work together. Anyway....
Looks like I won't be posting images for a while due to the rules here.

    My Gear,
    2006 Gibson SGEBCH1
1996 Fender Strat-White with maple neck
    Fender Princeton Chorus amp
    Carvin Legacy 100 watt half-stack
    SKB Pedalboard
Various Boss Pedals (I think they work well) Several Distortion and Overdrive, CE-20 Chorus, Flanger, Tuner, Eq, Compressor
    Morley Wah
    Morley Little Aligator Volume Pedal
Electro Harmonix Metal Muff with Treb Boost.
    MXR Phaser
    Digitec Phaser
and most importantly a Wife and Chihuahua that love to hear me play. 8)

Welcome ! Quite the gear list there. Just out of curiosity how does that Carvin sound, I've often wondered about them, since I know Steve Vai uses/designed them.

I am not that happy with the lead channel...It is very brown sounding, but the clean channel works great. Plenty of punch, very crisp and [move]LOUD LOUD LOUD[/move]

So I've heard as well. The clean channel is clean. My pedals make rythem sound great as well.
Kind of wish I had bought the V3 instead, but I am happy with it

Well, the halfstack alone was something like $1,400
They are on sale now for $1,300
I won't even go into the pedal costs because I need to update the pic. Lots of changes have taken place.
I'm having my SG worked on now. Better pots and caps installed. Covers removed and pups wedged so that the angle is correct. I replaced the green keys with Nickel grovers.
