Well I am 27 and my first real guitar I ever owned was a 1962 sg. I got it about 6 years ago and sold it to get a 56' les paul reissue...BIG MISTAKE. Nothing could compare to the silky smooth neck of the sg. Since then I have corrected my error. I still have the 56' but I have added 3 sg's back to the stable. A new sg standard, an sg speacial and a what I believe to be a 1973-74 sg standard. I play mostly for fun at home...few years ago I ventured out to los angeles and did some session work...but thats nothing like having your own band...Not saying it wasn't fun...it was. Mostly I am a collector..or am I am a seller...Well I try to buy and sell vintage guitars but usually I end up liking the new ones I get to much and they don't end up getting sold. Speaking of which I do have a real nice gibson l-50 from the 30's I am selling on ebay if anyone is looking for a sweet jazz guitar. I hope to learn alot from this site and add what I can. once again HOWDY :)

    Hey there Zach!
Welcome to ETSG, soak up the wisdom, laugh at the humor, move to Arizona.

    That's what I did!

Well, I left Helltown, er, Houston in 2001.
Tropical Storm Allison and September 11th did it for me.
    Life's too short, you know...

    :-)
