I mean, I’m pretty much a Marshall guy through and through but this one does it all. The Hughes and Kettner is what I had hoped the Mesa Dual Rectifier would have been to me. It differs from the Mesa in the facts that the clean channels aren’t in any way disappointing and the Marshall channels are actually Marshally. The high gain channels are crisp and dynamic. The power amp section isn’t so stiff either.
Amp 1 - Fender and Vox
Amp 2 - JCM800 and Plexi
Amp 3 - H&K Duotone and Mesa high gain.
I love it. I’m pretty sure this is my favorite amp of all time. If you get a chance, check one out.
