    Perhaps bringing up Binky was a mistake on my part. I forgot about the flatulence incident as well as the unfortunate he had while planting trees at the schoolyard.

    Perhaps approaching a Chap named Dicky may be more suitable.

    Mind you (Lurid rearranges Ample Self into a more comfortable position in his Favourite Fireside Chair, lights an exceptionally Fine Cuban Cigar....a Gift from "The Major"....and prepares to reminisce)

    "Quite So Old Chap........Quite So!" Harrumph!!!

    Of course, One can hardly be surprised that you Chaps from The Colonies find correctly spoken and annunciated English so amusing?
    It's indeed a pity that you have managed to mangle the language quite so severely, but then again, hardly surprising. >:(

    *Stately Professor voice*

    Your opinions are well considered, sir. I would ask that you consider, as well, the juxtaposition of the stuffy upper-crust Blue Blood condescension with the simpler, less pretentious intellect of the American rural South.

    A common phrase in defense of their perceived shortcomings in their skills of the Oratory Arts would be loosely thus;
    "Slow talkin' don't mean slow thinkin'..."

    Of course, the involvement of distilled spirits may provide for a softening of these skills until conversation turns to something akin to; "Whut did yew jus' call me?"

    The results usually call to mind events in the Colonies two centuries before...
