Big neck compared to my '17, '14 Standards and '17 Special. Ebony. Naturally relic. $530 US. More to come.

That's a good price. I bought one new at the end of the model year for $599 if I remember. Got rid of it because the neck was too big!

I had no idea the "Platinum" refers only to the hardware and that these were available in other finish colors. I saw one for sale in a shop locally a while back that had a Satin Platinum finish with the same hardware.

The three SG in my current possession are 2004-2006 models and have chunky rounded necks. I really like the necks from this era.

They did them in all platinum/silver, then the black and plat/silver here, as well as a red with the plat/silver hardware.

This model was called "Pewter Platinium" , nice SG with ebony fingerboard.

I was doing some recording with it this morning. It plays great, sounds good and blends nicely in this project with the special with hot mini-buckers.
