I heard ACDC was a good band so I borrowed Back In Black for like 4 months and listened to it over and over. I loved the sound He got. and then I say How cool it was and when i played one I was sold. So i wouldnt say That I got my SG becasue Angus plays it but he told me about it I guess. Then began my 6 month quest to find Myself a used copy of back in black for under 15$...took me forever.

I put the SG on my "to play" list because Tony Iommi played em.. I tried one at a store when I was a guitar noob (thats new-b for you non computer geeks. lol) and I didnt like the feel to them. I only had a squire.. then I dated this girl who had a red 80's special and by that time I was used to playing guitar and absolutely loved the SG. So I went out and found a black 80's special (just as rare back then as they are now. pretty cool). Eventually gave it to a friend whos family didnt have enough money to buy an American SG and used that as an excuse to save for a standard.. Its been my favorite guitar for 7 years now.

sorry for the life story =). All I was really trying to say is that Iommi influenced me more than AC/DC.. I really like the Blow up your Video album.. I just wish they used better quality gear when recording it..

Never listened to AC DC for more than a couple of minutes before switching offfffff....... :sleepy2: :sleepy2:

I shouldn't say it,I know, but the knowledge that the guitarist I am listening to, is a Short, balding, middle aged man dressed in schoolboy uniform, kinda bothers me too, somehow? ;D

Mind you Brew, It does answer that age old question?

"Whatever became of Gilbert O'Sullivan"? (Not that I actually ever wondered!)

Wear a Kilt and content myself with wandering around The Grouse Moors, smelling the Heather and perhaps indulging in some quiet and contemplative Fly Fishing. :)
